If you're here, you already know that my name is Courtnie.
I grew up in a small town in upstate New York called Greenwich (pronounced Green-witch). After graduating high school, I went to a community college for two years and got my Associates' Degree in Business Administration. During that time, I performed in many productions at many different community theaters in the capital region.
In August of 2017, I moved to NYC with three of my best friends and attended the Institute for American Musical Theater for two years. While in the city, I also found a wonderful theater company (Hudson Classical Theater), and was able to perform in and hair design many shows with them.
A week after we closed Sense and Sensibility in March of 2020, the shutdown happened in NYC and I decided to go back upstate for a week.
Four years later, I'm still in upstate NY. I found the most amazing theater community at Fort Salem Theater. I’ve had the opportunity to act there, as well as direct, stage manage, and light design (all of which are VERY new to me)! I was named an Artistic Associate of Fort Salem Theater in April of 2022, and joined the Board of Directors in August of 2023.
I am also a cat mom to the most beautiful boy, Zephyr, and a big sister to Anna and Danny.
